Dear Serge,StephE and Herve,
In the sport of Reining,the rules do not allow for the use of the Snaffle after the horse has become 5 years old.Only the Bridle is allowed in competition,and without a noseband.
The use of the Double Bridle in the Reining Horse makes for a nice transition,in training,from the Snaffle alone to the Curb alone.
